Description

U2 Under a Blood Red Sky vinyl captures the band during the explosive live period that helped establish U2 as one of the defining rock acts of the 1980s.

Released by Island Records in 1983, this US copy is a Specialty Records Corporation pressing, identifiable through the SP matrix designation and EAST embossing. Its runouts also contain Allied work-order numbers from metalwork supplied for the pressing.

The record contains eight live performances, including “Gloria,” “I Will Follow,” “Sunday Bloody Sunday,” “New Year’s Day” and “40.”

This version contains the shortened performance of “The Electric Co.”, without the “Send in the Clowns” snippet.

The vinyl is an exceptional Near Mint example and has been fully play tested with excellent playback throughout. The cover is a particularly attractive VG++ / NM- example showing only light age and storage wear.

Generic inner sleeve included.
