Description
Jackson 5 Anthology vinyl from 1976 brings together 32 recordings from one of Motown’s most successful groups in an impressive three-record collection.
Anthology traces the Jackson 5 through their classic Motown period, beginning with landmark recordings including “I Want You Back,” “ABC,” “I’ll Be There” and “The Love You Save.” The collection continues through favorites such as “Never Can Say Goodbye,” “Mama’s Pearl,” “Dancing Machine” and “Maybe Tomorrow,” while also including Michael Jackson solo recordings such as “Ben,” “Rockin’ Robin” and “I Wanna Be Where You Are.”
This U.S. copy is a Superior Record Pressing Corp. pressing, identified by the MR-in-circle markings and delta numbers in the runouts. All six sides have been checked against the pressing information.
The three records are exceptionally attractive, retaining excellent gloss and grading VG++ approaching NM-. The entire set has been play tested with excellent playback. Only slight surface noise is audible during some quieter passages.
The elaborate black 1976 outer cover grades VG++, showing light wear from age and storage while retaining excellent presentation. The large fold-out interior also grades VG++, with its photographs and artwork displaying beautifully.
