Dolly Parton Linda Ronstadt Emmylou Harris Trio 1987 Columbia House pressing, complete with the original printed lyric inner sleeve and colorful 12×12 paper-doll insert.

Released in 1987, Trio brought together three of American music’s most distinctive voices: Dolly Parton, Linda Ronstadt and Emmylou Harris. Produced by George Massenburg, the album combines country, folk and bluegrass traditions with beautifully arranged three-part harmonies.

This copy is the Columbia House club edition, identified by “Manufactured by Columbia House Under License” on the lower-right back cover and the absence of a barcode. The etched “G” in the runouts identifies pressing at Columbia Records’ Carrollton, Georgia plant.

The vinyl is graded VG++ and is extremely clean, playing beautifully with only very slight surface noise audible during the quiet passages. The cover is VG+, showing light age/storage wear but presenting very well. The original illustrated lyric inner sleeve is also VG+.

Especially nice is the presence of the original 12×12 paper-doll insert, illustrated by André and featuring Dolly Parton, Linda Ronstadt and Emmylou Harris with cut-out wardrobe pieces designed by Manuel.
