Description
Eric Clapton At His Best vinyl from 1972 is a U.S. Polydor double-LP compilation bringing together outstanding recordings from Clapton’s early solo career and his work with Derek & the Dominos and Blind Faith.
This copy is the All Disc Records, Inc. pressing, identified by the “66” etched into the runout areas of all four sides. STERLING is stamped in the runouts on Sides 1–3.
Both records have been fully play-tested and grade VG+. They play great with no pops or skips. Some surface noise can be heard during quieter passages, but overall playback is excellent and the vinyl presents very cleanly.
The original VG sleeve is the distinctive top-loading variation with a fold-over flap and embossed “AT HIS BEST” title. It shows considerable evidence of its age, including storage wear, staining and soiling, creasing, edge wear and corner wear. The flap remains intact. Please review the photographs for the exact cosmetic condition.
The records are housed in generic replacement inner sleeves.
Highlights across the four sides include “Anyday,” “Let It Rain,” “Sea of Joy,” “Layla,” “Bell Bottom Blues,” “After Midnight,” “Keep On Growing,” “Little Wing,” “Presence of the Lord,” “Why Does Love Got to Be So Sad?” and “Key to the Highway.”
