Released in 1979, Stormwatch brought Jethro Tull’s late-1970s folk-influenced period to a dramatic close. Often grouped with Songs from the Wood and Heavy Horses, the album combines progressive rock, British folk influences and Ian Anderson’s increasingly dark observations about industry, nature and environmental change.

The album features Ian Anderson, Martin Barre, Barriemore Barlow, John Evan and David Palmer, with John Glascock contributing bass to several tracks.
