Description
George Harrison Concert for Bangladesh vinyl
George Harrison’s historic Concert for Bangladesh brought together an extraordinary collection of musicians at Madison Square Garden on August 1, 1971, in what became a model for the large-scale benefit concerts that followed.
This original U.S. Apple Records STCX 3385 edition presents the performances across three LPs in the distinctive textured box and includes the lavish original 64-page photographic concert book.
Featured performers include George Harrison, Bob Dylan, Ravi Shankar, Eric Clapton, Ringo Starr, Billy Preston and Leon Russell.
This particular copy is especially attractive. All three records are Near Mint, the book is Near Mint, and the box remains VG++/EX to NM- with excellent overall presentation.
The runouts identify this as a Capitol Scranton pressing and contain the STERLING mastering stamp, LH etching and stamped IAM triangle on all six sides.
