Jeff Beck – Live With Jan Hammer Group 1977 Vinyl LP

Description

Jeff Beck Jan Hammer Live vinyl captures Jeff Beck performing with keyboardist Jan Hammer and his group during one of Beck’s great jazz-rock fusion periods.

This original 1977 U.S. Epic Records pressing (PE 34433) was manufactured at Columbia Records’ Terre Haute pressing plant, identified by the etched “T” in the runouts.

The vinyl is glossy and exceptionally nice, grading VG+ visually while playing VG++ to NM-. It has been play-tested and delivers excellent sound with only very slight surface noise during some quieter passages.

The original VG+ jacket shows normal shelf/ring wear along with edge and corner wear but remains an attractive, solid example.

Highlights include “Freeway Jam,” “She’s a Woman,” “Scatterbrain,” “Blue Wind” and the Jan Hammer compositions that showcase the guitar-and-synthesizer interplay that defined this collaboration.
