Description
Jeff Beck Truth vinyl captures one of the pivotal moments in British blues rock, bringing together Jeff Beck with Rod Stewart on vocals and Ronnie Wood on bass.
Originally released in 1968, Truth helped establish the sound of the Jeff Beck Group and pointed toward the heavier blues-based rock that would dominate the following years. Mick Waller handles drums, with additional musicians including Nicky Hopkins and Jimmy Page appearing during the sessions.
The album includes “Shapes of Things,” “Let Me Love You,” “Morning Dew,” “You Shook Me,” “Rock My Plimsoul,” “Beck’s Bolero,” “Blues De Luxe” and “I Ain’t Superstitious.”
This U.S. Epic reissue was pressed at Columbia’s Carrollton plant and carries the G1 identifiers in the runouts.
The vinyl comes from a personal collection and was played only once before being stored. It remains exceptionally clean and grades NM-. The jacket is equally attractive and grades NM-, with only very minor evidence of storage and handling.
