The Rolling Stones – The Rolling Stones, Now! (1965)

Description

The Rolling Stones Now 1965 London PS 420 is an outstanding early U.S. Stones LP featuring the band’s potent mixture of blues, R&B and increasingly confident Jagger/Richards originals.

This copy features exceptionally clean NM- vinyl with beautiful gloss and minimal evidence of handling. It has been fully play-tested and plays beautifully, with only very slight surface noise during the quietest passages.

The jacket presents exceptionally well from the front, with strong color and a remarkably clean appearance. Localized paper loss/damage at the upper-left rear is shown clearly in the photographs and is the primary reason the cover is graded VG++/EX rather than NM-.

The original London Records advertising inner sleeve is included.

The rear cover states that the recording was electronically reprocessed for stereo from an originally monaural performance.

One wonderfully strange period artifact appears in the liner notes: Ian Stewart is credited with playing organ on “Time Is On My Side,” despite the track not appearing on the record.
