The Doors – Morrison Hotel (1970)

Description

The Doors Morrison Hotel vinyl LP from 1970 captures the band returning to a tougher blues-rock sound on one of the strongest albums of their career.

Opening with the unmistakable “Roadhouse Blues,” Morrison Hotel moves through “Waiting for the Sun,” “You Make Me Real,” “Peace Frog,” “Blue Sunday,” “Ship of Fools,” “The Spy” and “Queen of the Highway.” The album remains one of the essential records in The Doors’ catalog.

This copy is an original 1970 U.S. Columbia Pitman pressing on Elektra Records, catalog number EKS-75007. It features the classic red Big E Elektra labels, textured gatefold cover and original Elektra 1855 Broadway printed company inner sleeve.

The vinyl grades VG++ and has been fully play tested. It delivers amazing, clear sound throughout, with only some surface noise audible during quieter passages.
