Description
Tom Petty Southern Accents is presented here in a 1985 U.S. Carrollton pressing on MCA Records, catalog MCA-5486.
A particularly attractive copy where it matters most: the vinyl is Near Mint (NM) with a beautiful, glossy, like-new appearance. The original embossed outer jacket presents extremely well from the front and is graded VG+ due primarily to label/sticker-removal damage at the upper-right corner of the back cover, clearly shown in the photos.
The original custom lyric and credit inner sleeve is also included and grades NM-.
This copy is a Columbia Records Pressing Plant, Carrollton pressing with the characteristic G1 markings and the label variation featuring the Petty writing credits beside the tracks, asterisk footnote indicators and Stephen Marcussen/Precision Lacquer mastering credit.
Matrix / Runout:
Side A: MCA 3928 G1A G1 E9 <JXAD>
Side B: MCA 3929 G1B G1 E9 (HXMP)
Includes “Rebels,” “Don’t Come Around Here No More,” “Southern Accents,” “Spike,” “Dogs on the Run” and “The Best of Everything.”
