Judy Collins – Colors of the Day 1972 LP w/ Poster

Description

Judy Collins – Colors of the Day vinyl: The Best of Judy Collins is the classic 1972 Elektra retrospective collecting some of the defining recordings from Collins’ remarkable late-1960s/early-1970s period.

This vintage US copy is a Columbia Records Pressing Plant, Terre Haute pressing, identified by the CTH deadwax markings, with the Artisan Sound Recorders logo stamped on both sides.

The collection includes Collins’ celebrated interpretation of Joni Mitchell’s “Both Sides Now,” along with “Someday Soon,” “Suzanne,” “Who Knows Where the Time Goes,” “Amazing Grace,” “My Father” and “Farewell to Tarwathie.”

The vinyl has been fully play-tested. It shows signs of prior play and some surface noise is audible, but playback remains enjoyable overall, ranging from VG to VG+.

The cover presents very nicely at VG+ with light age and handling wear.

Best of all, this copy retains the original large fold-out beach poster, which is remarkably well preserved and presents beautifully. Complete copies with a clean original poster make particularly attractive examples of this very popular Judy Collins collection.
