U.S. Swan Song Records • SS 2-201 • 2LP • SRC Pressing
A beautiful original-era U.S. copy of Led Zeppelin’s legendary live soundtrack The Song Remains The Same, issued by Swan Song Records in 1976.
Recorded during Led Zeppelin’s July 1973 performances at Madison Square Garden, the original soundtrack captures the band in full concert mode with extended performances of “Dazed And Confused,” “No Quarter,” “Stairway To Heaven,” “Moby Dick,” and “Whole Lotta Love.” The album was released September 28, 1976.
This copy is the Specialty Records Corporation (SRC) pressing, identified by the SRC markings in the runouts. The matrix numbers correspond to documented Variant 1 of this U.S. pressing.
Most importantly, the two vinyl records are in outstanding Near Mint condition.
